Shells Of Melbourne

I've been waiting a long time to stop at shells. I brought my 2 grandchildren in for lunch and enjoyed the ocean atmosphere as we were seated. We ordered as my grandson was enjoying coloring in the book they provided. He was tired became a bit disruptive so I requested our meals to go. Our waitress Michelle promptly said I'll have your food packed up it'll be right out. Thank you Michelle for understanding a tuckered out Granny with 2 Grandbabes. Great local, invisible restaurant serving freshly grilled catch of the day. Lunch is reasonable $9 to $13 each person), and the part is suitable for a small Asian guy like me! Most locals eat here and most of them are retired white people; so if you are a young Asian guy, you will stand out, but who cares! The food is good. The garlic shrimp and seafood pasta is great. A little oily, but tasteful! My Bf really enjoyed his Wahoo fish from the Catch of the Day menu. For a huge part plus my lunch special we pay less than $45 prior to tips. Not bad for a holiday meal!

I only regret that we did not discover this jewel on the first day of our stay in Melbourne: we only had to come here twice. Everything was perfect: fish, pasta, crab cake and cheesecake. Even her coffee tastes better than usual. Service respectful and fast. Also respect for the photos of each court on the website.

Wonderful food! Catch of the day was Haddock and was perfectly prepared. Crab cakes were the guy I was looking for. Great keychain. Love the diner atmosphere.
