Although I knew they were previously frozen, I was still disappointed. Next time, I will stick with the shrimp and maybe try the oysters instead. My partner ordered the shrimp with garlic rice and broccoli and enjoyed it, but mentioned that he would request the garlic sauce on the side next time as the dish was a bit too juicy in the bowl. The restaurant offers beer and wine, as well as fountain drinks including club soda. The walls are flat and do not absorb sound, so it can get loud when busy. Despite the mixed experience with the food, I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.
This restaurant offers a fantastic selection of fresh seafood that is ready to eat, with no mess to clean up at home. You will not be disappointed!
My experience at Seafood Station in Vera was phenomenal. I went there on my birthday and I must say the food was excellent. Everything was fresh, the place had a unique atmosphere, the bathroom was clean, and the service was exceptional. I truly appreciate all the kindness shown to me on my birthday by the staff. Thank you!
The experience was fantastic! I went on Wednesday during Lent, so there was no meat available on Wednesdays or Fridays. However, they offer a delicious salmon and shrimp salad. The service was outstanding and they also have outdoor seating. I plan to return on Fridays during Lent, and likely after as well. Additionally, they offer lunch specials from 11am to 4pm. The salad I had was part of their lunch menu.
Upon entering the restaurant, my initial reaction was surprise at the prices on the menu, with two meals totaling $70. However, upon closer inspection, there were more affordable options available, including the option to build your own basket. My husband and I decided to share one of the summer special boils, which included lobster (his favorite), crab (my favorite), shrimp, red potatoes, corn on the cob, and toast for around $20. The food was served on a paper-lined tray with shell-crackers, and everything was delicious and buttery. The portion size was enough to satisfy one hungry person, but it was reasonable for us to share. It would have been helpful to have tiny forks and bibs, as the meal was messy with cracking shells and eating with our hands, but we appreciated the roll of towels on the table and the sink in the hallway for cleaning up afterwards. Overall, we found the price we paid to be fair considering the quality, quantity, and type of food. Despite most people opting for take-out, we were the only ones dining in, and we hope the restaurant continues to offer dine-in options when we visit again.
