A star rating only because the place is clean, has a clean cozy environment, the (2) staff were very pleasant, our meals were served within 15 minutes of the order, and our - overly expensive bill (consisting of 1 duck, fried meat-fruits, and an appetizer w/1 canned drink, 1 bottle of water, 1 ?natural juice? total $89 w/20% add gratu I feel meal standards are very personal and different for everyone, but like Puerto Ricans, born and raised, Latin Flavor fell so short of his name and not fulfilling our expectations in * Flavor, Presentation, Quality or Portion. Of course, no food was was wasted, especially given the sticker price, but we will not come back, nor recommend. As a reference we had arrived a party of 3 to dive on Tuesday before 17:00, no other males present.
That was the best Latin food we ever had! We used to live in Tampa and got Pernil plates in different places, but that was the best. So juicy, so tasteful, even the simple rice I ordered my 3 years old was tasteful and delicious. We will make this a regular lunch stop every time in the city!
Eating?s good, but portions do not even come near the appropriate prices also wine-based drinks won overpriced?t go back or recommend. I ordered appetizers (overpriced) but they accused the whole meal-something wrong with there mathematics too
I wanted to try a new place in the area. Came for lunch. 3 tables were busy and service was fast and friendly. I ordered the lunch of rice, beans and pernil. The food was good, but there was no taste. I also order a can of dietary coke. With a 20% tip, the bill was exactly $22.38, which I overpriced for the amount and quality of the food I got. Joey says I'll try other places Next night I tried Ven Pa 'ca in Palm Bay. The food, also Puerto Rican cuisine, was delicious, larger portions and a much better price. Joey V says skip Latin Flavor and instead go to Ven Pa 'ca?
Well if your a new york rican looking for that real ?? food. This is not the place. The food isn't bad. Besides being way over priced, for the very little portion they give. They cater to more of blankito. Taste buds. Yellow rice isn't Yellow. The chicken is barely seasoned. And did I mention a very very small portion for the price. More like kid size. My search for real Spanish food continues. At about $20 bucks a plate.
