28 North Gastropub - Melbourne

28 North exceeded my expectations in service and taste. The chicken in the Coq Au Vin had beautifully crispy skin and the mushroom burgundy sword that it accompanied was perfect. It was my first time with poutins with duck meat and now I don't want poutins in a different way. Large selection of Florida beer also. Our server was Jewel. She was friendly and very dedicated to our needs. Including boxing our remains and marking of each box.

Nord 28 Gastropub it is a beautiful modern restaurant. The server told us the menu of scratches. As an appetizer we ordered French onion soup; it was so delicious. The chicken and the waffles were so unique and different! The servers were very attentive and accessible.

Great drink selection, beautiful mood inside with their decorations and layout. The frits were really delicious and crisp, the Prosciutto and Arugula Sandwich was also very good. The service is usually quite slow and the table we got was very sticky and dirty. A beautiful place to get some food and drinks at the Avenues.

While the restaurant seemed promising, I wouldn't come back. The concept is refreshing and the interior is beautiful, but unfortunately the food simply had no taste. The presentation was beautiful, but both the chicken and the burger we had ordered were missing from spices. We tried to compensate by asking for ranch and hot sauce, but our server was nowhere to find for most of our meals. When she finally came back to the table, she let us know that they had none of these things. That's okay, but if you don't have standard condiments, then the food must be seasoned. Three stars were given exclusively for the ambience. The only thing we liked was her Mac n cheese and devil eggs.

Pub experience, pricey dishes. Service is very friendly, dishes are average. We had a radicchio salad, a pumpkin risotto and a meat filet. Wine, cocktail and beer menu is extensive. Service is fast
