Reggae On The River - Melaka

Reggae on the River in Malacca is a fantastic spot to hang out and grab drinks with friends. The atmosphere is laid-back, with a variety of pubs to choose from, each offering its own unique vibe. I had the pleasure of discovering a Bob Marley-themed bar playing his music, which was a delightful surprise. The establishment has a relaxed feel with bamboo seats adding to the chill ambiance. The prices for beer were reasonable, particularly for a popular tourist destination. One of the highlights of the experience was watching the ferries come and go while engaging in mini beer games and waving at passing tourists. Overall, I found Reggae on the River to be a satisfying place to unwind and take in the scenic views of the river.

The staff is friendly and the beer prices are reasonable. The soju (27 RM) is good and the mocktails are tasty. It was busy on Saturday. I will definitely visit again next time I am in Melaka.

Best cocktails in town, very friendly staff, direct located at the river (few meters along on the riverside of the Hardrock Cafe), very good prices for huge cocktails. Also good view to the canal from the rooftop bar.

The name does not disappoint. Well actually, it is not ON the river but slightly beside it. Which is a good thing, because who wants wet feet when drinking beer? What brings me to the most important part: Beer! Lots of it! And a decent selection of snacks too. The staff is attentive and friendly. And if you are wondering whether you are at the right spot, just check the tables for dinosaurs and enjoy yourself with some reggae tones!
