We went in, was ignored for 5 minutes left standing at the entrance outside on the terrace We approached the bar and was offered...1 of 2 tables, but the guy behind the bar, only "signed" on the tables not asked a colleague to show us on the table. The table and then we were ignored for another 10 minutes. A type of the oldest of the 2 single waiters we saw) then threw 4 menus on the table, no hello or good evening frightened, We then came up and left The blonde lady at the reception never asked us on the way out if we are okay and what the problem was Absolute shame Nevertheless we went next to a restaurant with employees who enjoy their job The food was excellent and it was a pleasure to give them our €150 Euro-Schatz Retrain your staff because they are a embarrassment for your institution
We had dinner here after visiting the porcelain factory and the Dom. We ate on the terrace overlooking Meissen the view is extraordinary. The service was friendly and prompt. They also spoke English which was a bonus. The food was excellent nicely plated...with the generous portions we came to expect in Germany. Highly recommended!
We were guests in your beautiful house for the second time and will definitely come back. Our room in the Kerstinghaus was beautiful and equipped to the latest standards. We were warmly welcomed and said goodbye. Their service, the extremely friendly staff, the delicious food and breakfast, where nothing was missing, and the great location high above the city leave nothing to be desired. You deserve the 5 stars. Thank you for everything!!! Rooms: Very classy and luxurious Nearby activities: Museums, churches, Albrechtsburg, porcelain factory, hikes in the vineyards, many beautiful restaurants, etc Walkability: Everything within walking distance Food drinks: Very good food and a large selection of regional wines
We had a very pleasant stay with our child and dog, although it was not obvious beforehand that dogs were only allowed in certain rooms and that these were of course a little more expensive. Sauna costs extra. The service in the rooms and breakfast was top. Otherwise, Meißen is really beautiful and worth a visit. Rooms: 5 Service: 5
Had 1 night in a room on Domplatz (comfort category) Great room, everything very clean, very comfortable box spring bed. Dinner on the terrace has a wonderful view. Chicken burger with sweet potato is a dream. Salad bowl and soyanka. The price is a bit higher but the view is worth it. One star deducted for breakfast Unfortunately the selection for a 4 star hotel was a bit limited (no bread, only baked rolls, no fresh fruit, limited selection of muesli) But the view in the morning is again a dream. There are great Sunday arrangements with 2 nights. Unfortunately we only had one night and will definitely be back. Small fitness room, sauna for a fee.
