Bikanerwala - Meerut

Part of the Bikanerwala chain, same quality and same pricing. Nothing fancy, only that it is on roadside for anyone travelling from Delhi towards Hardwar.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Uttarakhand. The entrance itself is dirty, as there's an open drain flowing there. Beggars & urchins will surround you. Once inside, many of the food options began quite late.So, we were stuck with a handful of options (& so were other patrons). This resulted in chaos as everyone wanted the same dishes in the same duration. I would have thought that if you are focusing on only a limited no. of items, you will build an assembly line to expedite the process. But sadly this wasn't the case here.There were heated arguments between patrons & the staff. & the staff doesn't really care. Pretty sad way to start the day. To add salt to wound, the food is average at best. They've toilets to use but even they were muddy.Please pull up your socks folks!

Stopped for breakfast well past 7 am, having left Gurgaon early in the morning on a winter day. Nothing was ready. The staff were quite indifferent, almost close to being rude. After about 20 minutes wait, I got some parathas, but nothing wow about it. Will think twice before stopping here the next time around.

The breakfast timing is from 7 to 11 am and limited items are available. Paratha, Chole Bhature, Kachori, Idli sambhar, dosa,sandwitch,tea, Coffee, dhokla etc.For lunch more items as per menu.Open till after dinner.Sweets, namkeens, mathri,cookies also available.Gift packs too.We took idli sambhar plate, chole bhature and takeaway dhokla packed.Sweets we took packed Rajbhog.Food quality was ok.It has good ambience.Token system. Payment in advance at counter. Parking for a dozen vehicles.Toilets.Good for vegetarians.Good for people travelling on road.

While driving to Mussoorrie, stopped over to eat savory snacks alongwith some chilled drinks & stopped over at this great brand outlet. Ordered salted buttermilk with some snacks. Buttermilk was not chilled/cold & nor did they have any ice cubes to make it cold. Worst part was the cashier being rude in returning the money at a time when we did not even took the delivery after knowing that the same was not cold/chilled/non availability of ice cubes.
