The Tavernette Inn - Medway

I can remember many birthdays with my father that we had dinner here.

The Tavernette is a small, out-of-the-way restaurant in the tiny town of Medway. They have 1 traffic light. But it's right where Main crosses Spangler (which is the extension of I-675N). It has a 1950's feel to it and I swear I always expect to see Sinatra come through the front door. The walls are covered in shelving boasting memorabilia from times long gone and a fireplace sits in the center of the dining room. Service is both good and friendly, and substitutions and extras have never been a problem. I first discovered this little gem just driving through looking for something else. And since then, I've brought my family and friends numerous times and it's a regular spot now for my boyfriend and I. Whether you want a large sizzling steak, or British style fish-and-chips, they can serve it up hot and delicious. Their salads are crisp and fresh, and their burgers are huge. Sides are amazing too... everything tasting quite homemade. Their shrimp cocktail is the best and their onion rings are second to none. Come for the charm stay for the food. Yum!

It's about another name, but the whole experience was great. our server was very experienced, friendly and helpful. the menu is new and offers many possibilities for every taste. my first attempt was the sticky burger. I order it again. my wife ordered the devil eggs. they were professionally plated and had three different styles. the smoked chicken was excellent. I'll be back!

Very good eating . great people and a very nice atmosphere! the back terrace and bar simply amazing. ! I would recommend this facility to everyone and if they are looking for home cooking w a retro vibe and a cozy hometown feel that this is their place! food coma! a solid 10 all the ground

Pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and amazing eating do not hesitate here for a good meal and a good time to stop!
