If you want to come to Umrah or visit Medina, the Arabesque Restaurant is a must. It is no. 1 ranking restaurant of the city and also its contemporary design mixed with eastern hospitality make it a unique platform for all different types of food. Recently, the new Executive Cook has revitalized the entire concept with some new stations. Price is little high, but it's worth it. It is located in Shaza Al Madinah Hotel, next to Haram Gate 21.

I went into her for the first time to try her Suhur, I was held by a hospitable gentleman who introduced himself as Babar. “I’m an outsider who only wants to see what’s on the menu,” I said to him in a hurry. “Get an insider now and join us,” said Babar. He invited me to explore the buffet and insisted on trying it by making me a deal I could not refuse! As someone who understands food, I can say that it was made with love. Every bite has another story to tell; I enjoyed every delicious moment. Then I closed my trip with a taste of her canafeh, a traditional, Middle Eastern dessert. I am confident that my crooks will be blamed forever – what a sweet, slightly cloudy canafeh it was! The result was an explosion of salty, spicy, sweet and acidic aromas that sparkle with personality, but all harmonized on the plates, an explosion of taste in fact. “You should join us for Iftar; it is much more colorful than today.” He closed with a smile. Yes, twice!

Today to the Arabic restaurant with my husband for lunch. We were warmly welcomed by the waiter Sameh, who was super helpful and polite. He took us and showed us the buffet and explained everything about the food and the selection that was really good and diverse. You have calculated SAR136 per person, which is very reasonable compared to the different options of the lunch buffet. Great deal! The food was great and the service was great. Mr. Sameh has always checked us with a warm smile and a great customer service. The dessert selection is also super, it even contains ice cream. The hotel seemed nice, unfortunately it was completely booked so we couldn't stay.

The environment and atmosphere of the building and its surroundings were relaxing, yet upbeat. The service was incredible (Mr Sameen Mr Tabraiz) and the food was fantastic! Great variety and a delicious buffet. Genuinely enjoyed dining in, great for families and outings, would definitely come again.
