The Mango Tree - Medicine Hat

We visited the Mango tree for an evening meal, for appetizer we had chicken wings..cooked to perfection in a clay oven, spiced perfectly, simply mouth watering, the best I have ever tasted in my life! I had a tandoori beef kebab dish which was fantastic, so very tasty, my wife had fish Tikka also very good. You read rave reviews here about the Mango tree.....Believe them, none are fake, its the best food to be had in Southern Alberta, forget boring steak overpriced Thai or bland Chinese food, give your taste-buds a treat, this food is also reasonable, average $ 30.00 for two which beats Ralph's or the Beafeater by a country mile and SOOOOOO much more flavour. If you are not sure about Indian food, try Butter chicken with Naan, great for a first experience.

We found this restaurant based on reviews and we were not disappointed. The service was attentive and informative. The food was superb. We ordered chicken malai, mango curry with lamb and vegetable jalfrezi. We like spice so ordered hot. The level of spiciness was perfect and portions were generous. The nan bread was wonderful and allowed us to scoop up the amazing curry. Some of the best Indian food we have ever had in a restaurant and we will definitely be back when are driving by Medicine Hat again. Don't miss it!

The food at this place is good and we always are impressed with the wide selection on their menu. I would recommend the veggie pakoras and any of the different mango drinks. Great for take out as well.

Lots of variety and the food is delicious. Found it a bit pricey for the amount of food served. The service is excellent and are very helpful with ordering. Have gone there numerous times and are never disappointed.

Great East Indian food at a good price. Satisfying portions. Great friendly service. Have been here numerous times...never yet been dissapointed.
