Ihop - Medicine Hat

I visited IHOP for the first time, and I found the food to be quite delicious. I think I'll opt for a smaller meal on my next visit, as the portions were a bit more than I expected. While I thought it was somewhat pricey, that seems to be the case with many places these days.

The restaurant has definitely declined. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, but it turned out to be a greasy beef dip with just cheese—no au jus, onions, peppers, or any other toppings. It was far from a real cheesesteak. I also tried the classic Bennie, but the sauce was poorly prepared and split.

We had a table of 13 for breakfast, and the service was quick, polite, and reasonably priced. The food was excellent, and everyone was satisfied with their selections. We will definitely return!

I had a late lunch there today and really enjoyed it. I ordered eggs and sausage with hash browns and pancakes, and everything was prepared quickly and tasted excellent. My dining companion got a burger, which was cooked to perfection, and he said it had the best onion rings he’s ever had! The waitress was very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. I will definitely return!

Update to the response from the owner :I did some digging around about who the server was , I don’t think contacting the general manager would be appropriate, considering she is the wife of Darwin (manager)Thank-you for your time, and response in this matter.Me and my husband was in Ihop on Thursday June 30th at about 1230 to about 130,We had a lovely blonde lady serve our table in the back corner,I was so disgusted at what I witnessed along with an entire restaurant of people. There looked to be a confusion at one of the tables with our server and the bill. Another waitress abruptly interrupted her , she was slamming her pen down on the table with the customers and their two small children. while she was getting very frustrated with our blond server, she abruptly grabbed onto the servers wrist and dragged her from the back corner all the way up to the front, where she continued to embarrass her and humiliate her,That long dark haired server should have never grabbed that lady the way she did , that was disgusting to watch and witness, that poor waitress came around the corner and she looks scared, and she continue to take payment and clean her tables. If I were her, I would have went to head office or walked out the door.If there is a issue with a bill deal with it professionally, there’s no way this server should be a server treating fellow employees that way, I most likely will not be back and I’m sure everyone else who witnessed that probably won’t be back either,
