Cypress Club - Medicine Hat

A beautiful archaic setting in the present...the building and interior are truly beautiful reminders of past design and splendor...of how Gentlemen of affluence met and dined initially in a bygone era...the staff are social and courteous and the food is delicious...and the 'beverages' can be plentiful...it is an experience you will remember for the ambience of the setting...truly beautiful.

We were there a few months back for a private dinner party for about 25 co-workers. The drinks on the outdoor patio were nice although its very small and we were quite crowded and the waitresses did not seem inclined to come out and take drink orders over the hour or two that we sat out there, we had to try and squeeze through all the chairs and table and into the bar. Dinner was served upstairs and was very nice. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The table wine served was quite terrible and I thought could have been something a bit nicer considering the venue and the meal but overall it was a wonderful evening and the service was great and the food excellent.

My husband and I had made a reservation the week prior, for the evening of Saturday February 18, 2017 expecting to have a lovely meal before heading to the theatre. After spending 1/2 an hour trying to find the place we finally phoned for directions while standing on the corner where we thought it should be,only to be told that they were not open. This was extremely disappointing and hard to understand why we were not made aware of this when making the reservation.

We had an amazing evening.....the building was so full of character and intimacy, the food was delicious....from our top notch steak and vegeys, to the carrot cake for desert. This place is the best kept secret of Medicine Hat. This little gem is highly recommended....

Undoubtedly the best cuisine in a tastefully decorated atmosphere.Probably the premiere cuisine in the city. Tastefully decorated; Steaks are excellent. Catering mainly to groups. Not handicap friendly if being served on second floor as there are two flights of stairs and no elevators.. Street parking..
