Sakura Japanese Resturaunt - Medford

The sushi was delicious, but the katsu was dry and the sauce was reminiscent of ketchup. The teriyaki chicken lacked texture and its taste was unremarkable. The gyoza had a great texture, but its taste was average.

I will give this restaurant another 5 stars. There was a younger female server who sometimes forgot to bring drinks and take orders, but the older staff were very efficient. The food was delicious - we had some rolls, cucumber salad, and ramen.

My wife ordered the nabe udon, while I ordered a California roll and a spicy tuna roll. Her dish arrived 30 minutes after placing our order, while mine took an hour. By the time I finally got my food, I was ready to take it to go as we had been waiting for so long. It's clear that this level of service is not what Michael or Kay, the owners, would want for their customers. Unfortunately, they were not present during our visit. This review reflects my disappointing experience at the restaurant today. 2/5.

Would be nice if they were ever open during the posted hours. this is the 5th time that I tried to order and had to choose another restaurant because they did not answer the phone, drive and they are not even open.

Great food. The tempura cheesecake is our favorite!
