It is an entertaining atmosphere, with friendly staff and happy patrons. Punky stopped at our table to chat with the kids. The food was great and the portions were perfect. Will be back and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and delicious breakfast experience.
How fun, a nostalgic visit to the past with a 50's dinner themed dining area. The food was great, the price was average at about $15 per person for breakfast, coffee was plentiful, and the bathrooms were clean. We got there at 8am and the dining area was open, by 9 it was pretty full. The servers were a pleasure to talk with. Handicap parking is available as well as seating. They also had toys and such for the kids. This was not my first visit here and it won't be my last.
This is the best place to have breakfast in all of medford! Prices are very reasonable the food cannot be beat and the service is very cordial. They have a lot of gluten-free options with buckwheat pancakes and usually gluten-free toast. They're omelets are to die for. They also have potato cakes that are delicious. Punky's is my go-to place!
There are a number of places that say home cooked kindness in their name or advertising. My parents were both amazing chefs so that for me home cooked has reached a much higher standard than most restaurants. Punky 's diner is cooked in this rare class of home flavor in everything I had. I honestly don't know if I could have done a burger that tasted better, and the Marion Berry Pie took me right back to my grandmother's kitchen. It goes without saying, I recommend this breakfast and lunch cafe.
Great staff great food and punky herself came by to fill my cup of coffee! The decor was great and the music venue. I felt like I went back to a simpler time. This was my first time here, but definitely plan to come back!
