Whole Hog Cafe - Medford Township

I've eaten at whole hog many times over the years. The best meal I've had was barely 4 stars. And the worst, a solid 2. (Think reheated leftovers. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if every thing was being prepared in bulk at a commissary. Then shipped, and reheated at this location. So if you're craving great BBQ. This isn't the place for you.

Don’t come here. I bought the ultimate platter and was served bone dry, rubbery, brisket. The smoked Turkey just tasted like deli Turkey, although the pulled pork wasn’t too bad. The corn bread and soda were the best things on the menu. Don’t waste your time or money. Also The ladies at the front desk were very respectful.

Very good bbq! I got the pulled chicken sandwich, cheesy corn, mac and cheese and a fountain drink. As a table we shared the fries that had cheese and ranch dressing. The food was delicious. They give you a lot of meat on your sandwich and then on the tables you have the different sauces to add. I will say it is not cheap to get a meal here, but I was satisfied with the quality of the food. Friend got the meat platter. The cornbread was a bit dry. Otherwise, everything was great overall and would definitely return!

Very pleasant young person at the counter taking orders and bringing our food to the outside table. No smoking outside which was a real plus inside was quite cold. Fries were fresh cooked; beans were tasty; pulled pork was OK.

The staff is so friendly. Atmosphere is amazing. It’s large with great outdoor seating.The wings were A+. Sides were great. Prices are fair.I wanted to give 5 stars but the brisket was so dry and well done that it didn’t even appear or taste like brisket. I mentioned to the staff that brisket was dry and they told me it’s cooked offsite. Don’t order brisket here.
