There is no great choice, but it is always fresh and fantastic. You also need to...brow and an excellent selection of Empanadas. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. One of my favorite places in the neighborhood of Laureles.
Kim goes twice a week to laureles to guide group fitness courses. since I want to get more laureles restaurants on our list of the best menu del dias in medellin, I asked them if they could try out all different restaurants there. she said. no. she didn't want to give up an Ocre lunch by going elsewhere. ocres menu del dia is so a lasting joy of kim that every time she eats there, she can not help but show me photos of her eating. all foods go the extra mile for the quality, all the way to the basil-infused olive oil and expertly made desserts (ocre is in first line a bakery and conditorei finally.) when the time comes that we will return to the canada for the summer, kim already white ocre will be on the list of the dinge that will miss them over melin. Do not miss them to go there. final score: 10 (10 worth, 10 quality) for 30 more of the best menu del dias in medellin, google best medellin midday specialties and visit our detailed guide.
This is a unique restaurant/bakery in Laureles. There is no menu, everything is done for the day. Probably the best bread worked up in all Medellin and dishes around them. And the best part of the lunch ticket costs only 10mil. Definitely worth a visit.

I looked in vain for two years in Laureles and even bought Poblado for real bread. Ocre recently opened about four blocks from my apartment and wow I was happy to find exactly what I was looking for. There is no baguette, but... there are several other types in loaves and wheels as you would find in Europe. Prices are reasonable. Colombians prefer arepas so that the bread culture takes a back seat and I really missed it.
