We decided to eat lunch in this restaurant after we did a search and watch the menu. the server was very helpful after we decided what to eat, good lasagne, the arepa with meat was very good. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to eat here at lunchtime.
It was quite expensive for a fast food chain, extremely slow (we waited a lot for the service staff to take our order, and half an hour or more for our order to come to our table), and it was a bad meal. overall a terrible...experience we will never repeat, and recommend against them.
I have visited J&C many times before, always found the food and service satisfactory so when I saw that they opened in Parque Lleras I decided to have lunch there. Everything with the food was ok but I am really dissapointed in the training they...give employees when they process of your credit card. I have a no foreign exchange fees credit card and want to be charged in the foreign currency to take advantage of this feature, card processing banks charge you comission and give a bad exchange rate, so I definetly want to be charged in pesos and not in dollars. I made that clear to the lady processing my payment, but when she gives me the machine to confirm the amout I see a exchange rate, so I figure they are going to charge me in dollars, I tell her that I want to be charged in pesos, but she knows nothing except hit a green button a few times until the paper comes out. I complain, and she talks to the manager, which only says that they receive their money in pesos, something that has nothing to do with my complaint, which is that I am being charged in dollars by the credit card processing company. In the end it was impossible to get through to this badly trained employees and I feel the manager had no interest in my problem. So be on the lookout if you are paying with a credit card because you are going to pay more that you should.
Every time I go to medellín I have to stop in one of the restaurants in the chain. I have visited the restaurant for about yrs and it is still the same, love the pepita and garnelen arepas.
