We were on the weekend at the Schnitzelhäus of the Senf Dealer on Burg Satzvey. The operators and staff were very friendly and the food was very delicious. The carvings were great. The ingredients are fresh and regional. The price-performance ratio is correct. We'll be back.

Betr. Sylvesterparty in the Senfmühle: I must unfortunately join Mr Swiercynski's review! Even though the buffet was laid down, so I was fed up, I found the choice (for the warm part) very narrow! At 19.00, one had no chance to sit in a seat, chairs and bar stools were defended with teeth and claws, of which the people were able to get a seat before the official start. We will not visit this party any more. A praise for the really friendly and nice staff!

Review of the New Year's Party!Spoiler: DJ and music selection could not have been worse! My fiancée and I were visiting Germany during the holidays and thought to have arrived at the right address with the New Year's Eve party in the Senfmühle to visit a different celebration in the new year. We got the party with four friends, two of whom were visited from Sweden. Now we were told in advance that there will be few seats because it will be a dance party. My parents thought to accompany us for a short time, but because of the lack of seats and the further statement that it is a more younger audience, they decided against it. First of all, I must stress that the food and drinks (especially wine and champagne) were excellent. There were both meats and vegetarian options and tastefully there was nothing to complain about. The service was also very good. Since we knew about the lack of seating, this was also in principle no reason to object. From about 100 guests, more than half of them were gone after dinner. Time to party... What we get to the music selection and the DJ. First of all, I would like to say here that we knew beforehand about rock-loaded music. Now there is Metal and Rock!!! Who was now looking for head banging and moshpit music had found the right thing at this New Year's Eve party. Rock to which you could dance was unfortunately in vain. Ever heard by Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, etc., is a revered DJ?! The selection for the announced dance party was more than bad, the transitions of the songs did not fit and it seemed as if the DJ were more interested in keeping the dance floor empty than worrying for mood! Sometimes he was the only one who knew the songs played and celebrated them very much. After several questions, some mood music was played for 10-15 minutes. But that’s what it was! Conclusion, a laptop and Spotify don’t qualify for the DJ position!

We were at Christmas brunch in the mustard mill, we really liked the buffet was great and the flaky cake came fresh from the kitchen. The following Christmas market on the castle Satzvey is great.
