Drift Inn - Mechanicsville

I can only say wow! Words can hardly capture my feelings. I recently visited "DRIFT INN," where I also had the joy of winning the early bird prize at the Hollywood Carnival. I was truly moved when I opened the envelope to find a sweet note alongside the cake. I'm a sentimental person, and I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for such a thoughtful gesture. Your kindness is a gift that will always mean a lot to me. In this chaotic world we live in, it really touched me in a way that I believe many may not fully understand. I am genuinely thankful. God bless you all, and please stay safe. I'm looking forward to seeing you all next year!

The crab cakes are outstanding! The service was excellent, and the owner is fantastic!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal featuring shrimp and fish. My husband particularly liked the soup. The fish was delicious and there was a generous portion. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience. The service was good too. I found it to be a bit pricey, but since we don't eat out often, we were fine with it.

This is the best crab house we have been to, service is always good, when seated you have room to get out of your seat without hitting the person at the next table which is so nice, crabs are always full and large. I see some people are complaining about service but ours has always been really good or at least we get everything we need in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Worst crab house ever. Owner's daughter has a horrible attitude and treats customers badly, so hope you don't run into her! Crabs were ok but small- definitely not the best around when there are so many other options nearby.
