Cook Out - Mechanicsville

Cook Out offers delicious food at a great price. However, the orders are often mixed up and incorrect. For example, if you order coleslaw or a BBQ plate, you might not receive a fork. Most of the time, there are no napkins either. Despite these issues, the food itself is fantastic!

I really enjoy the extra thick shakes, and the fast food here is solid and affordable.

How can they go wrong with the cookout? if they were not yet there, they have some of the best combos in the city for the cheapest price. they love their sweet tee and the shakes are also good. corn dogs are great and the Cajun-Fries are amazing.

Depends on who’s working. Portions and quality of food/service range widely. Don’t ask for a side of quesadillas sauce. They act like it’s gold. Always “out” of tortillas for quesadillas but have them for chicken wraps??
