I see reviews from one end of the spectrum to the other. I am picky about Chinese eating and always special order everything that gal that could take my order could not be more friendly or accommodating by adding wobbly to my rice and putting sauces on the side. my food was hot, fresh and delicious. the shrimp tso was incredible and they always give them enough for two meals. if you have not tried the crispy beef or chicken, then it is soouo good. and the crab rangoon and egg foo young, for me, is better than any other place around. china kitchen is now my new and only place to go for ingenious Chinese cuisine. cvc

I was betrayed that they don't offer aubergines in garlic sauce. to the happiness the brokkoli in garlic sauce left me forget everything. the portions are also generous.

This place is a real hidden gem in Mechanicsville. I have a lunch trip today after I haven't eaten there in a few years. The roasted rice was perhaps the best I ever had from any restaurant.

Eating is okay, but you need to inflate their phone to answer someone IF they even answer. And SUPER confusing business times, of which they hardly stop.
