Mcdonald's - Mebane

I had an unfortunate incident with my car after grabbing some McDonald's, but I have to say the food was excellent! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered a double cheeseburger, but instead, I received a sandwich with just half a slice of cheese. Rather than the usual ketchup and mustard, I was given mayonnaise and one pickle. When I pointed this out, they reacted with anger and started cursing loudly. The cook even expressed that he wished he would get fired. It's safe to say I might not be coming back here again.

I always request that my food is made fresh, and I'm willing to wait for it! Unfortunately, my fish sandwich was just okay and didn’t taste fresh. On the bright side, my fries were nice and hot from the fryer! I also always ask for no ice in my drinks, because we all know they just fill the cup with ice, and before you know it, you’re left with just a few sips, haha!

My friend was hungry, so we decided to stop here for a bite before hitting the interstate again. We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh the food was, especially at 2 in the morning. I wasn't even hungry at first, but once I started eating, I realized just how satisfied I felt. The service was great, too!

I visited the restaurant at 1:30 AM on Saturday, and while I was prepared for the usual staff behavior at that hour, I have to give it only one star. The manager insisted that I needed the actual phone used for the mobile order instead of just the order code and my name. Fortunately, it was just the free item my wife ordered from home, not the main order, so I managed to get that without having my phone checked. Overall, it was a frustrating and nonsensical experience. Price per person: $1–10.
