Watermen's Inn - MD

Waterman's is a hidden gem with seasonal and delicious specials. The vegetable plate is fantastic and the seafood choices are always excellent. Even though we are regulars, we rarely have room for dessert, but they are consistently amazing. If they have the mushroom soup, don't hesitate to order it - it's superb. This restaurant offers the best food in Crisfield.

I was very enthusiastic about visiting this town and trying out this restaurant. It's situated close to the water, although it doesn't offer a direct water view. Nonetheless, it's housed in a unique old brick building that was once an ice cream factory. We visited during the off-season and unfortunately, the seafood was average at best. Additionally, the staff appeared rather displeased about serving us in the nearly empty restaurant during the off-season.

Charming and delightful dining experience. The food was tasty and comforting. Side note: There is potential for further development of tourism in the area.

We biked into Crisfield from Janes Island State Park mid afternoon. Decided on a late lunch/early dinner and chose the Watermen's Inn. Fantastic choice! Gracious and excellent staff, knew that after the hot bread that the meal would be more than ok. Perfect broiled crab cake, no filler or shell. My second part of the early bird was fried oysters, my wife's was fried shrimp. Both outstanding. Dessert was blueberry cheesecake and banana Smith Island cake, both fantastic. This place is now on our short list of great restaurants in small towns.

Went to Easter dinner barely no ones eating people kinda non-personable workers. I ordered calamari for appetizer and some drink and thinking try it before we ordered.its was ok but don't look appetizing to me my drink was good and the hard baguette like a rock hehehhe. So we ordered a cheese burger and a burger for me with lettuce,tomato and grilled onion with side of fries and a little bit of mayo.we got the food with no lettuce and tomatoes on both burgers like who the hell forgot and mess up the burger come on now.i think its pricey and the food was not really great. One customer complain about they're food and no one give a remorse.the place is kinda trying to make upscale restaurant the it's not really all that I'm sorry but that's my opinion and sorry I wouldn't coming back at all. And if you ever come visit here check ur credit card that u use after 3 days they will charge again for tips.horrible experience
