Velvet Monkey - McMinnville

I'm not typically a tea enthusiast, but after visiting Velvet Monkey, I might just change my mind. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the selection of tea varieties lining the walls is impressive. The customer service is outstanding, and the owners are truly delightful people. I left with several large bags of tea!

What a fantastic tea shop! Richard and Serengeti, the owners of Velvet Monkey, do an excellent job of curating and organizing a wonderful selection of teas for enjoyment on-site or to take home. They offer an impressive range of teaware, tea pots, and accessories. The ambiance is incredibly Zen and soothing. And be sure to try the chocolate truffles—they're absolutely irresistible!

I really hope they stay open. The staff are the nicest people and I hope they're doing well. Great loose-leaf tea and fresh-made tea options. Cool teapots and accessories. Great chocolates and baklava. I recommend their lavender lemonade too, if you're notin the mood for tea.

Absolutely fantastic! It's always a delight to visit this place. They offer a wide selection of teas and exquisite chocolates. I enjoy spending time here sketching or reading because the atmosphere is so soothing. The staff is extremely welcoming as well. A trip here always brightens my day. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the chocolate chai and coconut cream, but honestly, all the teas are wonderful.
