Smooth Rapids Outfitters - McMinnville

Our family loves this place! the booking is simple, the check in is easy, and the mica are so beautiful. recently our second year in a row we booked one of the rvs, swimming and eating in the restaurant. this time we rented a tandem kayak and get shuttle service for our own single. the prices are reasonable, and the staff is all charming. my man said how kind the younger were withworkers when it is probably just a one-summer job for them. all were so nice to our children, especially one of the owners, mickey and his wife! I would recommend smooth rapids for everything they need to offer, especially if they have children. the only negatiw is the fight to get a place in one of the vans when they pick them up. it is not smooth rapids debt, but other kajak drivers were the problem. Apart from that, it was a perfect trip!

The staff are accommodating and full of southern charm. The whole experience is relaxing. You're downtown, but it feels a world away from everything. The"short float was perfect for young kayakers and we arrived just in time for a great lunch after leaving the river.

Hands down amazing and clean... Last min reservations, like the day of through the whole weekend ???? and I got waterfront. Very affordable. Just around the corner about a 20min drive you get all the hiking, swimming and waterfalls your heart desires...

I made my reservations for the week ahead instead of the current week. They told us to just come in and looked us right up. It was fun and funny glad we did it Great experience will definitely do it again with a longer ride. We only did the short one just to see how we like it.

The service at Smooth Rapids Outfitters was perfect from sign-in to pick-up. Most of the kayaks were fitted with elastic rope to hold down our gear but a couple had no ropes at all. The driver was prompt to pick us up, although they may wish to tell people the name of the new business rather than “VFW” since it is no longer there.Though the cost is a little higher than Horseshoe Bend Marina, they do answer the phone and have your equipment ready when you arrive.Highly recommended!
