Yan's Chinese - McMinneville

Food not great, pork and shrimp tiny pieces in large batter.... disappointing. 5/17/24.

The food and environment makes up for some of the servers being sub-par.

Great family food with plenty of room. All the basic Chinese foods with no long waits.

Yan's is by far the choice of Oriental restaurants for me. They create food choices based on a chef or a very talented cook instead of just the slop it all together put it out kind of a place. Yan says a great atmosphere The employees know what they're doing they don't waste time and sitting around with your friends in that place with the air conditioning is very pleasant. I highly recommend Yan to anyone. I wish you ands was down here in Lincoln City or Newport I'd go there everyday. Something else that I like is that when you ask for a low sugar meal they work with you. They try to come up with foods that accommodate your medical needs such as diabetes. They may not be able to do everything you request but at least they listen and they try and that's more than most. Vegetarian options: What is or is not vegetarian is up to the person eating it. I recommend going there and checking them out for yourself

Best general tso tofu I’ve ever had!!!!I’ve never had a bad experience here. Always polite and kind and food is always hot and delicious!!
