I love Winco because of the prices, but I wouldn't shop any Winco for fresh produce as it goes bad rather quickly. They do not take credit cards; it's 2024 get with the times! Their self check outs annoy the ever living crap out of me due to having to scan things slowly so the weight can register and sometimes it will freak out and require a cashier to come over and help. I want to be able to check out my stuff with very little intervention from staff, unfortunately the self check outs are not great there for many customers will need an override at the same time. Almost need two people at self check out to help with overrides. I miss Barb at customer service, she retired a few years back; sad to see her go but she needed that well deserved retirement.

Has anyone else noticed how GREEN the fruit has been here lately? I have bought several watermelon's at this location over the years and every single one has been on the under ripe side. Same for the Pears, Strawberries, Grapes, and especially the peaches... it's just awful when you're expecting fresh ripe fruit. I just bought another watermelon this week and again it was under ripe and not very sweet. Maybe I need to start buying my produce from a higher end grocery store to get quality.
