Delicado Foods - MCMAHONS POINT

I absolutely love this little unique place. Nice and private. Lovely staff and great location. Parking on the street. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. My meal was fresh and great attention to detail.

We had our work team Christmas lunch here and had a wonderful afternoon. We sat in the outside area which has a nice relaxed atmosphere and even though we could hear the festive music being played inside the restaurant, we could still have a conversation with everyone around our large table. We ordered the set menu and everything was delicious. from the croquettes to the halloumi to the garlic prawns to the paella. Our waiter took good care of us and always knew the right time to bring out the next dish. They also have a good selection of wines and beers. Will definitely be going back.

My brother recently had a significant birthday celebration for around 25 upstairs in the function room. It was a fabulous evening..the staff were just gorgeous and so in to it and we had great food which was generous and reasonable..squid..paella..empanadas…cheese and charcuterie platters olives etc.. the atmosphere and set up was beautiful but unpretentious. We had a fab night.

We were greeted on arrival in a casual yet professional manner. The service is impecable! No rushing to order but the staff were there when needed. We had Mushroo Croquets,Guacomole,Squid,Vegetarian Paella. The food was delicious,I especially loved the Squid so much I webt back the next night for the same. Drinks menu was great! We had a Spanish White,Vivito? Also the Gin Spritz which hit the spot very nicely! Highly recommend this restaurant!

I had hoped for a quick delicious lunch. It was not too be. Hopefully this was just a problem lunch time for them and their cook was ill or something. Long wait before anyone even noticed I was a customer. Took a long time just to get a coffee and put the lunch order in. Noticed some others were having similar problems. Nice to sit outside on a sunny day, but there were noisy children being allowed to run around. So much for any semblance of Covid control distancing etc. Coffee was fine. But, oh my the lunch was dreadful watery ****. Microwaved slop perhaps? Come on people don’t serve customers such food. I nibbled at it a bit, and then left. I considered paying the bill a charity gift to help the people working there... working? Hmm. It did seem like a charity case. Sorry, can’t really give any recommendation at this time. Check out a couple of places just across the street they have been much better lately. Was there any staff management there for lunch? It is sad that so many good places have closed during Covid yet places like this? Well, quite a sad disappointment in light of the service and food they are serving up.
