The Currant Shed - MCLAREN VALE

First-time dinning for a private function lunch. excl. fixed menu so not sure what is the norm with respect to the fixed menu. wow the food was fantastic and the staff really made the place. Five stars! the only thing I can change is the reflection of the sound. I have tinitus and I couldn't hear anyone talking how to scream with the hard refractive surface of the zinns I left with my ears. I would recommend. so much. next time I want to go if there are fewer guests.

I forgot to take a photo of one of the courses everything was sooooo good!! Beautiful views, lovely service, complex but DELICIOUS flavours in all the dishes. Highly recommend and will definitely be back (all the way from Melbourne! thanks for having us Currant Shed!

A great venue with plenty of space between tables and nice surrounds of lawn grape vines. Sizable menu choices, great service and outstanding quality of food wine. They are so generous with their additional plates, bread, water, etc. One of the best meals we have had in a very long time.This is a must do when in McLaren Vale doubt if you will find better.

Amazing!! Love this place. The views, the service, the menu, absolutely everything! The food was spectacular, couldn’t fault it. Knowledgeable staff members, I even got asked if I was a chef because of the questions I was asking. Either that or I think she thought I was a food critic, which basically I am. Just an unpaid one! Fantastic place, a must! I’ll be back!

What a lovely spot for a restaurant. Lots of outside greenery. Big tables, wide apart, sweet, knowledgeable staff. Amuse-bouche was unexpected and delicious. Meals were great.
