Tai Sushi House - McKinney

I ordered the crispy bagel roll, and crispy was right. It was like they cooked it in old oil. The roll tasted burnt and the pieces (8) were so small (thin) . For $13.50 for this roll I was very disappointed. On top of it, I ordered fried rice for my daughter and it was burnt tasting too! We will not be coming back unfortunately. I’d prefer to spend $50 dinner on better sushi somewhere else!

Go for the mixed tempura. Thin batter, super crispy and served hot. Tempura vegetables are incredible. I'm not sure there's anywhere in town that does it better. Also noticed it's BYOB. Nice.

Literally just was told to wait for before the lady would give me a menu to order a togo order but when a gentleman of another color walked up she started helping him directly after having me wait a long while! I love sushi but love great customer service more, will be doing my business elsewhere!Service: 1/5

Excellent sushi and a nice, quiet atmosphere. The menu features a good variety of dishes beyond just sushi. The green tea was delightful, and the sushi was prepared with great care. Food: 5/5

The beef tataki is an absolute must-try! The quality of the beef is outstanding, and the gelatin ponzu sauce adds an exceptional touch that takes the dish to another level. The pork gyoza is fantastic, and the rolls are spot on. The fried rice is decent, but I encourage you to be more adventurous than I was, as I have tasted better elsewhere. Overall, their menu is excellent! Food: 5/5
