While the prices are slightly higher than what you might pay for chicken deals at other fast food places, it's not by much. The most expensive option is the Caniac, which costs $16 and includes fries, a drink, 6 pieces of their famous Texas toast, and a small coleslaw. Their menu is exclusively focused on chicken, and we appreciate that because it allows them to concentrate on perfecting their offerings. For us, the taste never disappoints!
When I realized that the kitchen had made a mistake with my order, I didn’t think much of it—it happens. So, I returned to request the correct items. While they did provide the right order, the food left a terrible smell in my car. It didn't look or smell right, and the taste and texture were off. The toast was soggy, and parts of the chicken were noticeably pale with a light green hue. There were bald patches on the chicken, and there were tough bits in every bite. I typically don’t complain, as I’m quite understanding, but having years of experience in food and retail, I know it could be better. Many of the issues I encountered tonight could have been easily avoided. If I had been in their position, I would have approached this situation very differently.
I love every single thing from here! the rabbit is amazing. always really good quality. the chicken and the frits taste amazingly immersed in the canoe sauce. the cane sauce is my favorite sauce ever. the frits are always perfectly cooked and right. I could eat all day! Food: 5/5
Bitter sweet writing this review, I ate Canes as it was presented here in North Texas service is always good, but this last time we went my wife and son both got food poisoning from meals both were out of school and work for a few days. Needless to say, will not go back for a while, with the bad taste to be sick is still fresh in the mind.
The food is delicious. The concept is simple, chicken tenders. However they were juicy and good. The service was fast and very kind. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 is the bathrooms were kinda unkempt. However if you’re coming just for the food and not coming to be seated upon the throne of truth, then you’ll be treated to good chicken and honest working people.
