Durkin's Pizza - McKinney

This isn't the same Durkin's I remember from a few years back. The crust no longer has that delicious garlic and butter flavor, and the pizza is just average now. Comparing old photos to the current version shows a noticeable decline.

I walked in and ordered a calzone with Canadian bacon, mushrooms, and black olives. Wow, it was delicious! The calzone was perfectly cooked, with a golden-brown, buttery crust and bursting with flavor. It was thoroughly cooked as well. I’ll definitely be back—it's definitely worth a try and so much better than Pizza Hut or Domino's!

During is a fun corner pizza place with excellent pie and 80s music that inspires the casual joy we had before the lock downs. Cheerful service and take out is available. Family friendly and priced reasonably. Try the calzones, they won't betray you!
