Cotton Patch Cafe - McKinney

It was immediately greeted. Our beverage order was taken quickly. It took a long time to serve our food. My chicken was served cold because it sat on the counter too long. I asked for engraving twice lasted another 15 minutes. At that time I asked to talk to the manager.... I'm not a complainer, but she should be aware. Maryann was the manager and she was very helpful. Extremely professional. Our waitress had never been trained to wait tables... but the waitress was very friendly. Maryann could keep us as regular customers. Your kindness and understanding was great. Keep this manager and give her an increase! It is hard to find good customer service these days....they delivered! Thank you.

When I arrived, I had to wait 5-10 minutes before a host greeted me after I sat, no one came back to take my order until I noticed the person who sat before she had already received her food and drinks and that?s when I asked the young lady when someone wanted to help me, she went ahead to search for a server and later returned to me and asked me if I could sit on the other side of the dining room because nobody worked. I immediately got angry because why would you sit there and then ask me to wait for someone to acknowledge me after 20-30 minutes. I ask immediately to speak with a manager, 5 minutes went by from a server came by asking if I needed help I said I just want to talk to the manager, at this point I had submitted my order online only to see how long it wanted to take someone to acknowledge me and I received my online order when the server came and told me that the manager said that he was too busy to talk to me, because he asked a refund. When I tried to explain to him the situation that had happened, he interrupts me until I told him that I was disappointed in his behavior and that I didn't want to eat and that I just wanted to get my money back, that is, when he gave me a card for a free meal. He also told me my money would have been refunded 2-3 working days it had been 2 weeks, I didn't get anything.

This is the second time that cotton patch tried and both time was terrible. the food was tasteless so bland. The fried? okra definitely was?t fried more like soggy batter on okra. never again

Please note my redundant images of Chicken Fried Steak and Pork Chops in this review. I just wanted to show how much we liked these two dishes and how often we ordered them. Loved how pork chops were browned, so juicy and tender. Chicken roasted steak had two sizes, dinner portion were huge! Unfortunately, our favorite Allen site was permanently closed. We once tried McKinney and it was disappointing. The food was of similar standard but service terrible. They are obviously short, most unoccupied table remained unclean when we sat. Worst still the floor seemed dirty and sticky to go. A star was taken off. We'll wait again for this place before we don't come back. Keep your fingers crossed.

I recently started coming with my family this year and have always seen great management and best food choices to eat! The new lemon pepper chicken tender are amazing!!!
