Plum Garden - McHenry

For 15 years Plum Garden has been our popular Chinese restaurant. We're going a lot further today, but it's always worth it. The food is fresh and tasty, beautifully prepared and so affordable for quality. The egg rolls are the best we ever had without a second. They have continued to make improvements in the interior, making it an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. We had many servers over the years and even spoke to the owner a few times and always had a great experience. If you are able, you must try. It is safe to become one of your favorites too! And try the Hong Kong chicken. It's her most popular dish for a reason.

Excellent taste and quality all around. Hong Kong Chicken was excellent, as well as the Mongolian beef, Hong Kong roasted rice, egg rolls, dragon noodles and so on. Service is friendly and patient. Great visit!

Excellent food. I love the Hong Kong Chicken. The Fiesta roasted rice is hit or miss when it seasoned enough, but overall this is a great place to eat. 1 star subtracted because the peace rice is not consistent, and when it is delivered, it never fails that something happens in the pocket.

Our meal was delicious! We were with a warm welcome and sitting. Our waitress was great. Tamera came by to check us out so we were happy. Absolutely happy! I have to say Tamera really improved Plum Garden.
