White Springs Supper Club - McGregor

First of all the hostess was very nice when we got there, then they tried to fit our party of 11 at a small table. After we let her know we would not physically fit together on that table and had to move some of us to the next table, she angrily removed place mats and silverware and was never seen again. We had to ask several times for water and straws for the kids. And the last time we asked, when the waitress asked if we were ready, she literally told me to wait until she was done talking. The Salad bar was almost half empty and wasn't refilled. Every order of hash browns had 2 different kinds of raw onions mixed in with them. The prime rib tasted old, bland, and awful. They told us their special was pretzel bites and then when we wanted to order them, we were told they were out of cheese. Also they were all out of milk and we had 3 kids disappointed. And to top it off, if you have a party of 8 or more they add 18% to your bill automatically, even though we had to move half of us to a different table and had 6 different bills separated. And half of us didn't enjoy our meal. The only pleasant part of my night was the bartender, she was fantastic. Very friendly. Wouldn't come again.

The service was decent, and the atmosphere had a nice casual bar vibe. However, out of our group of 12, only one person was satisfied with their meal. My hash browns were just a heap of mush and came with large chunks of raw onion, which I never realized was a common topping for hash browns. One person ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and it also featured raw onions. My BLT seemed like it had been sitting around for at least 10 minutes before being served, leaving the toast cold. Additionally, half of the items at the salad bar were empty.

Just step inside and you step back into the sixties or seventies when every small town had a supper club. Delicious food I love the chicken and ribs special. The salon bar was awesome just like they used to be back in the seventies with all the different fixings. Great drink menu as well. The bar game room dining area is all kind of meshed together there's a pool room as well so you know what you can have a great time you're doing what you do.

The last prime rib I had was excellent, even though they had run out of quite a few items, which was understandable since they mentioned they were closing. I don't think they were offering the relish trays towards the end, but I will definitely miss this place!

I have had a lot of fish dinners, but the one I had at a white Springs Supper Club was one of the VERY best. I really liked the seasoning on the breading and on the fish. Additionally, the tartar sauce was very good. Along with the fish came a salad bar. The deviled eggs were awesome! The crowd was friendly, and the waitstaff was exceptional. Downed it all with a well done whiskey old fashioned, it’s been a long time since I wrote a review, but this was a one worth writing.Kid-friendliness: Free video game for kids
