Campfire Grill - McGaheysville

Nice food, prices and people! I loved the presentation of food, flavors, options and decoration in the restaurant. Their Christmas music selection was charming, and the environment reflected the peaceful mountain lifestyle. Would go again! Food was great! The dumplings are more a northern style than south than a warning for real chicken and dumplings lovers. The onion soup, although not traditional French onion, has sturdy aromas and warming accents to fill your belly. The hot Koko was divine!!! Best part!!!!

The duck I had was okay. The place it itself is quite large and they have outside seating with a campfire that is very nice and cozy. I returned to the restaurant, and I must say that her veggie and cheese pizza was right at the point. The Poggio Sweet Red Wine has dropped it. Very satisfied!

I love the atmosphere. Everyone was very attentive. Our server and buser Deserie were amazing. The manager was very helpful and nice. He made sure we had the best table in the restaurant. Food was excellent. Drinking was good, but not strong enough for me. My kids made S'mores in the fire pit. Overall we had an amazing time!! Definitely will come back next year.

Just fantastic! I really thought this place would be crazy expensive to be at the resort, but I was happy surprised was fair price, especially given the portion size. They're huge! I ordered two piles of pancakes for my children when Pat our waitress told us that we only have one as it would be. Sure enough, not only was this one order enough, but between the two who did not even finish half. My breakfast was also massive. Couldn't stop it. Great, too. Pat was fantastic and so wa the restaurant.

Excellent meal (seared duck breast served medium with a bourbon cherry glaze, vanilla bourbon sweet potato soufflé, hearth roasted brussel sprouts. Top notch service (Thanks Josh! Covid guideline compliant masks and distancing. Totally comfortable eating here and recommend! Only thing that wasn't stellar was the wine flight.
