Taco Mac - McDonough

The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, complete with around 50 TVs for entertainment. Our server, Mahlon, was excellent and made our experience much better. I tried three beer samples, and while they were decent, I’m not a big fan of beer and am still searching for a good one. I also ordered a cocktail called the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, but it was quite disappointing. When I mentioned this to Mahlon, he kindly offered to swap it out, so I chose a classic margarita instead. Unfortunately, that turned out to be even worse - it tasted overly carbonated and syrupy. I struggled to finish it and ended up leaving most of it behind. On the bright side, my husband’s honey sriracha wings and fries were fantastic and had a real kick to them! We'll definitely consider coming back, despite the cocktail mishaps.

The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the food was fantastic, as always, at Taco Mac. The prices were reasonable, and the service was good; however, the waitstaff could benefit from not checking in every 10 minutes to see if you need anything after the food is served. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely return.

So many TVs you can see them from anywhere you sit. A lot of beer on tap. Food was OK, service was OK. If you are wanting to relax and unwind this is not the place unless you are drinking or partying. Current menu in photos.

Supported from their pathfinder! It was excited to see that TacoMac was on the Henry County GA Boy Scout Camp cards for 2023 until I went to it (on the only Henry County location) and was said they no longer honor. This gives the Scout Camp Cards a bad reputation without own fault, and the scouts who rely on them also for fundraising. What a disappointment!
