Blue Bay Cafe - MCCRAE

The restaurant serves very large breakfast portions and the coffee is made perfectly. It was a relaxed breakfast experience.

Today for Queen's birthday! Last minute decision and since most cafes or restaurants were booked or not opened, we decided to try this little place. It was nice, the food was nice, the staff was friendly and professional. The coffee took... little while but really, it's nothing to emphasize. The guy in the register was really sweet and helpful. We definitely come back! Thanks for a nice lunch.

The coffee was OK as was the decor with both inside and outside seating and friendly staff.The place was busy but it was peak time on the Peninsula. Overall standard fare but OK.

Sunday afternoon 2.10pm not many people around. Ordered coffee food. Got coffee but after 40 minute wait no food as, we were advised, the order had not been put through. As the kitchen was closing nothing was offered. An insincere apology and a refund...of the cost of the food (not the coffee) was given. The staff appeared to really not care too much. So... being a local, will definitely scratch this cafe from our list and will certainly not return or recommend to anyone.

Friendly local cafe. Love that it is Doggy friendly so when you’ve finished walking the puppies you can pop in for a coffee or a wine! The food is good too and there’s always a bowl of water for the puppies.
