I always make it a point to read the negative reviews as they often provide the most accurate portrayal of a place. Unfortunately, in this case, I did not heed the warnings and ended up experiencing the same issues as others. The service was incredibly slow, with locals receiving preferential treatment. When I visited on a Tuesday night around 9:26, the bar was only a third full, yet the bartender seemed overwhelmed. After waiting a significant amount of time for my drink and menu, I was essentially ignored for the rest of my visit. I attempted to get the bartender's attention, but she was preoccupied with another customer, so I ultimately decided to leave. It took a whopping 20 minutes just to order a simple burger at the bar, which was far too long of a wait.

My wife and I come here on the regular. I love that they always have a draft classic cocktail (Old fashioned, Manhattan, etc.. The food is always on point. They smoke their own meats and are legit. The brisket is actually brisket and if you know brisket that’s not always common. Great beer selection. Service is always fantastic! This has become the one place we return to more than any. Sorry for lack of pics.. We always devour everything!

Overall a great experience. food is good (I had a burger), service is on the ball. I've gone here a few times over the years and have never been let down. superb. I don't often give 5-star reviews but Poor Richard's earned it

Clean bar a dining area with a good atmosphere, great selection of local beer, everyone on staff was very friendly and timely. The Brunswick stew was without a doubt the best stew I have ever eaten in my life!!!

Great craft beer selection and good bar food. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
