Taco Time - McCammon

There was a ton of beef and cheese in my soft flour taco. The cheese was completely melted. There were also plenty of tomatoes and lettuce. But it wasn’t packed with lettuce to make up for lack of other ingredients. Flour shell was fresh. It was so filling I could only eat half. Seriously one of the top 5 soft flour beef taco I’ve had at a Mexican fast food place. It was pricey, but all fast food is right now. And since I could have made two meals out of it, the price was actually probably pretty reasonable. Bathrooms were decent. Tables and floor were very clean. Took a little time to take our order but that’s because there was just one person manning everything. She definitely made us a fresh burrito so it was worth an extra 5 minute wait.

I like Taco Time food, but it is very hit or miss as to whether the particular location will have good, fresh food. This location was excellent. Fresh tortilla shells, and loaded up with meat and cheese, not just full of lettuce.

Microwaved burrito… their website claims fresh home made style Mexican food, I wasn’t expecting authentic by any means but a grilled tortilla and not microwaved shouldn’t be out of the question

Turn around is a little slower than typical fast food because they don't have food ready and waiting but it's still relatively quick. Food is hot and fresh.

I love Taco Time. This one is usually kind of slow to get food to you, and the food is not exceptional. But it's better than a lot of places. The atmosphere isn't bad but its kind of run down a little.
