Wow! very impressed by the service, the food and the love to the detail.

It was our first time we came to the McAllen region, and we went from ponchos. we decided to review it and we are glad that we have gone to ponchos! the waiting staff had amazing customer service and ensured that everything was in order. I ordered the deomatadas independencia and it was delicious! also, go and try her margaritas! I have both the pineapple and mango margaritas and it was so good! They also have karaokes on Fridays and Saturdays. make sure ponchos to their must try mcallen restaurants list.

This place is great! we wanted to celebrate our father's birthday. we were looking for a restaurant with entertainment mariachi, live bands or dj.) we found it here in the ponchos restaurant. they had a dj; karaoke and dancing. big dj, he played a lot of music while simultaneously receiving karaoke requests. had the ambiente flowed. if they are looking for a place to enjoy a funny lively evening, the ponchos restaurant it is!

Was there on a business trip. I sat on the bar. the bartender was very attentive and informative. I had lunch. the presentation was good and the food was delicious. Please note that the bartender told me about the special, as it was not easily visible. it was worth stopping.

Great food, great drinks, friendly staff. What more could you want? This place is awesome. This was the first place I ate when visiting McAllen for the first time and will always be a favorite. Highly recommend. Although it does get extremely packed on the weekends so keep that in mind.
