Chili's Grill - McAllen

Why am I still going to Chili? I thought it was a casual place with consistently good food and well prepared drinks for a reasonable price. Post COVID, while eating and drinking are still basically, the price has risen almost 50%. In addition, waiting times are high again, not because there are not enough tables, but because there are not enough servers. So I'm wondering, isn't it easy to make my own drinks and burgers at home, or should I wait until it starts to press $100?

This restaurant is one of our regular stops, but we've unfortunately experienced poor service during our last three visits. One of those times was really busy, which we can understand, but the other two were harder to justify. On one occasion, they even forgot to put our order in the kitchen, and we waited 45 minutes before they realized! To make up for it, they did prepare one of our entrees at least. During our most recent visit, one of the kids tried their new chicken sandwich, and it came out undercooked (the crispy chicken was a shock!). We suspect this might be due to it being a new menu item and perhaps the staff needing more training. Despite these issues, we still come here occasionally because it offers good value. However, if our experiences continue like this, that may change. It’s disappointing that they’ve limited the 3 for $10 menu so much, but many places are doing the same these days, so it's not just them. On a positive note, the burgers are still pretty good.

I was at many chili’s, Hannah who served us, is awesome ... always smile, even if many tables during busy Sunday afternoon, fastest orders on the table, food is delicious, this place is clean and I would recommend a 5 star

This sports bar and restaurant offers fantastic drinks and a lively atmosphere. I absolutely love their shrimp tacos and southwest egg rolls. The bartenders really know what they’re doing, making it a fun experience overall. And don't miss the Mexican corn on the cob—it's simply delicious!

This is the best Chili’s I've visited yet. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent as well. The highlight of the evening was definitely the molten chocolate cake—it's a must-try, simply perfection!
