Bent Rod - Mc Clellanville

RUN to McClellanville and visit The Bent Rod. We sampled as much of the menu tonight as humanly possibly and each dish was better than the last. Flounder, BBQ nachos, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, fried chicken sandwich. All unreal. FRESH SQUEEZED grapefruit and vodka at their outdoor bar. Owner operators are new and are the nicest people on earth, we saw an incredible band, and I’m telling you. This is a hidden gem worth driving to!!!! Great atmosphere and fresh food. Flounder is great on a sandwich, beer could be a little colder but it was 97* outside so I can't complain.

Side salad was mixed, leafy greens and good size. Crab cakes were good, but only 2 (5 ounces) for $17. Brett's Burger was good, but overpriced. The online menu did not reflect the prices we were charged. Service was friendly and efficient.
