Sushi ko was highly recommended by a native, so I took from the city guests. it is very inconvenient from the outside, but not deceive, eating is excellent and fresh, fresh, fresh!
Had the fortune of walking by and having a Sushi craving. I was not disappointed as the fish was fresh and expertly prepared. I went through several plates and craved more. So much so that I had to go back another time. Chef Hatakeyama Ko...greeted me warmly and his family and staff were very attentive. He prepared several selections which literally seemed to melt in my mouth. This is one place not to be missed. Chef Ko is always trolling for the fresh Mazatlan catch of the day and he will make suggestions when and if asked.
Fantastic. I've been happy with one other sushi place in Mazatlan, but this one is at lower prices and the sushi rice is a little better. Prawn tempura was wonderful. Some people are happy with the Mexican version of sushi, and good on them. But...for real sushi this place is great. Small and not stylish and it doesn't matter. The staff is great and the food not to be believed it's so good. Welcome SushiKo. This is BYOG. And they provide water de garafon, not in a plastic bottle. Well done.
#1 sushi in town, everything is fresh or not available. Nigiri is handmade to order by chef Ko, my family just loves it. Great value and outstanding quality.
