La Cueva Del Leon - Mazatlán

We visited La Cueva Del Leon, a pizza place at the south end of the Malecón. We ordered cheese sticks and pepperoni rolls that were freshly made and served hot, with flavorful marinara sauce. We then enjoyed a cold michelada while our pizza was being prepared. I am not much of a beer drinker, but these micheladas were delicious and are served in many flavors. The pizza came with just the right amount of sauce for my taste and plenty of cheese and other ingredients. We had a relaxing afternoon with great pizza and flavorful micheladas while watching kids roller-skate on the malecón with the ocean in the background. I definitely will do this again when I return to Mazatlan.

Sitting along the street and watching the ocean while enjoying exquisite seafood. Doesn't get any better.

Wow. Best tacos I have ever had in my life. No joke. Will definitely come back next time I travel to Mexico City!

This restaurant has been closed for almost a year. The last time I walked past I noticed that it has become a pizza place, by the slice, etc.. There is however, el Faro restaurant which is located 2 doors north of the pizza place and it has good food, clean, and very reasonably prices.
