Fresco Restaurante - Mazatlán

We were visiting plaza Machado and got into this small restaurant after take a look at the Menu that is a kind of fusion food with no expectations at all. It was a very pleasant surprise, we asked a tostada special as appetizer which is a ceviche of Shrimp and Octopus.We asked for Tacos de Chamorro (pork shank) with crunchy octopus; tacos de lengua (beef tongue with shrimp) and Taco Baja (tempura shrimp) all of them fantastics, with a homemade thick corn tortilla. Additionally we asked for a Jaiba Tamal (crab tamal). A explosion of flavors with the combination of ingredients in all the tacos and the tamal. My daughter asked for a Spaguetti-fresco that was very tasty as well. Our best food experience in Mazatlan. Totally recommended.

Can't say enough good things about the wonderful dining experience that awaits you at Fresco. It is small, or quaint, but the flavors and creativity is huge. The quality in the preparation jumps off the plate. Staff is very attentive but not at all overbearing. This is a clean little place near the plaza. Very casual. The server was very helpful. The chef came out to give me the recipe for a salsa that i really liked. Ver good clam chowder, seafood tostadas, fresh Shrimp. Everything was wonderful.

Ir a fresco es una gran experiencia, un lugar muy calido con gran servicio y una comida excelente, recomendables las Chocolatas, los tacos de lechon una verdadera delicia, y deben de tomar una de las cervezas artesanales con las que cuenta el lugar. Simplemente espectacular.

Food has a great quality and is very affordable. I ordered veggies and added octopus for extra, it was the best, the put a lot of it for a very good price. If you are vegetarian order salad with beet was the best !!!
