El Presidio - Mazatlán

This bar is a small section of El Prsidio. This place has so much atmosphere. They have taken a derelict building and made it into one fabulous restaurant/bar. The service has always been wonderful. The food is fabulous. It is difficult to find because the entrance is a doorway off of a flat building. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is a delightful surprise inside.

My husband and I stopped by at lunchtime and had an enjoyable visit and a few cold beers and snacks. Very tasty food and super friendly staff.We will definitely return and try an evening meal sometime in the near future. Newly renovated but looks like its original home and barn areas are, a best kept in place. Wonderful courtyard many rooms, good sized bathrooms. An old property revitalized to bring the life back to this very historic part of town, with interesting tales of times gone by.This rustic building is full of surprises and we loved the ambience.We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend.

Ate here twice on this trip - both meals were excellent. We can't resist the sea bass and scalloped potatoes - delicious. Our service was superb/ It was fun to have a table near the glass wall separating the kitchen - a well staffed preparation place. The decor is old Mexico and everything about the evening was first rate.

Para mi gusto esperaba más de este lugar en cuanto a la comida porque mire que estaba en el #1, hize una reservación para 30 personas y solo teníamos 2 meseros pero compartidos porque estábamos muy mal atendidos, la comida si nos llego al mismo tiempo a todos, el lugar es muy bonito ahí sí le pongo un 10 y quedamos en un menú para los niños pero tampoco me dieron lo q habíamos quedado en fin.

El restaurante esta muy bien acondicionado, excelente ambientacion y decoracion, la comida de muy buen nivel, el sabor muy marcado y la porcion (pescado Wilo) basta. Lo unico que aunque se que no es problema del restaurante, es que el acceso fue de lo peor cerca de 1 hr para llegar y las calles cercanas en reparacion, lo cual demeritan tanto trabajo invertido en el restaurante. Me faltaba comentar de los precios, los cuales creo que son un poco altos, pero bien lo valen.
