I also ordered the fresh fish of the day served with garlic and chili (mojo de ajo style) another incredible dish that was light, tasty and tasty. the next day I went back and had the cervical snack, this time I ordered two. not in any case a contempt. I also have to say if they ask chile salsas, the waiter can bring them a sort of freshly made things.
We went to lunch and had only tacos, but they were delicious. had thunfisch and arrachara tacos. homemade tortillas were a plus. good size portions. great view on the beach. I will have gone back
They have an open policy to accept them, even after diving into the sea, well served and amazing.
Went back twice for the Tuna Carpaccio! The first time, we had the bacon wrapped shrimp- good, tuna carpaccio-excellent and tuna tacos- ok. The carpaccio was wonderful so went back for another round prior to our departure. Tasted the same, but received a little less...tuna and crispy onions. Will go again! The sign outside says Alawa. It's right on the beach, set way back from the main drag, near the El CID Moro.
We ate here tonight for the first time and can only give this place 3 stars. The good, is actually amazing and that is the location. It sits directly on the beach with the waves almost giving you sea mist you are that close. The waves notwithstanding, the sunsets (tonight's in particular) are stunning. Period. Truly amazing views as the sun dives into the Pacific and at this place you have a front row seat.Besides the view, the food is very mediocre (at best). My wife had some sort of tuna bite dish and really didn't care for it saying it was awful.I had the coconut shrimp and they were average at best. Chili Peppers just a few doors down has much better shrimp. The name of this place has actually changed to "Alawa" but it is still poor quality food (no chips (just the pre-packaged type) and average salsa, make this an avoid unless you just want to go for drinks and take in the sunsets (again--amazing.)
