Classic Gourmet Cafe - Maylands

Very talkative friendly hosts, and tasty food. Troy my man, wanted a BURGER....A plain boring burger. Which he got in the end. This was no ordinary burger though. This was like some kind of gourmet monster burger with french sides and strange garnish. All in all we were super happy.

Whilst on holidays in Perth we stopped at the Classic Gourmet Cafe in the Maylands Shopping Centre WHAT A FIND! We ended up there every morning for breakfast. WOW Best omelette I have ever eaten EVER! Their Sausage from a select local butcher is a taste that I will be chasing back in South Australia. The new owners were more than happy to cook/customise the meals anyway we liked. Can't rave enough about the Omelette, something special about the mix of flavours I couldn't resist and had a second one I definitely didn't need it! The service/conversation with both Wade and Cath made the whole experience one of the best cafe's I have ever been to. WISH this cafe was here in Adelaide. KOOBS

My husband called in here while I had my nails done at nearby Angel's (which were fab too! . The owners were very welcoming and chatted to him until I had finished despite it being past their closing time. Great food and coffee at very reasonable prices.

Always a good late night venue with good food and cocktails, some good mid week specials too. Love the booths and retro furnishings. Be good if they could
