Agave Mexican - Mayer

When our food finally arrived, the kids' chicken meal was dropped on the floor, and they never brought a replacement, expecting us to pay full price for just one chicken tender. To make matters worse, my drink was completely wrong; I ordered a banana blended daiquiri, but a mango one was served instead. The service was terrible, making us not want to return. Additionally, the chicken was burnt to a crisp, and the food tasted unpleasant. We were incredibly disappointed, especially since we usually love coming here.

We ordered the fajitas for two, and they were absolutely delicious! They included steak, chicken, and shrimp. The strawberry margarita was likely one of the best I've ever tasted. Our server was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Agave! Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Dinner.

I used to love this place, but it has really declined. Four of us went out to eat here tonight and encountered several problems. We never received the waters we ordered, and others at our table went without drink refills the whole time. Our server forgot what one of us ordered in a combo meal and didn’t ask until the other meals had already arrived. As a result, that person had to wait over 20 minutes for their food. Another diner didn’t receive their tortillas, beans, and rice, so he had to wait to eat until the tortillas finally arrived, and by then, his meal was cold. The hard shell beef tacos were soggy and fell apart immediately, and the meat was extremely undercooked. I had to walk over to the bar to get our waters and silverware because our server was nowhere to be found. The server never apologized or offered to make amends. This was the first time we've ever decided not to leave a tip. We won't be returning. We'll stick with La Catrina in Watertown, where the food and service are significantly better!
